We are not driven by clinical diagnosis. We are driven by the beautiful sense of self and who we are as humans. We believe everyone has difficult choices to make in life and it may be easier to pull away from family and friends when life is stressful. We believe that no one can truly “know” what we’ve been through and sometimes it is harder to forgive ourselves, even though others forgave us a long time ago. We believe that we all define success in different terms and everyone has it in them to accept themselves for who they are. Sometimes it may feel necessary to use drugs or alcohol to cope with overwhelming feelings. We believe that no one should go through it alone.
Our stories are not simple or for the faint of heart. They belong to each of us and provide us with strength to endure what is to come. Liz and I have worked together for many years in order to help others, increase their own resiliency, make difficult decisions, forgive what is forgivable and to share their own stories of endurance.
We believe in Acceptance Counseling because it gives each one of us the ability to heal through connection and to find what we have been looking for. Inspire yourself to take action, accept what your strengths are, and let us help guide you to clarifying your own meaning of success.
