I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on LGBTQ+ issues and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many of my clients are gay men healing from abuse, rejection, and the lasting trauma of growing up in a world that marginalized their identity. I take a client-centered approach, recognizing that PTSD can stem not only from major events, but also from chronic, smaller experiences that quietly erode a person’s sense of safety and self-worth. Together, we work to understand these wounds and build the capacity for healthier relationships, resilience, and self-acceptance.
As a septuagenarian gay man, I bring a lifetime of lived experience to my work. I integrate EMDR with Internal Family Systems “parts” work to help clients create effective, lasting change. My personal journey deepens my empathy and enhances the therapeutic connection, allowing us to work cooperatively toward healing, clarity, and greater self-compassion.
Every client’s experience is unique, and I believe we all carry an innate drive toward healing. My goal is to be your ally, creating a safe, emotionally supportive space where your true self can emerge. Together, we’ll nurture the conditions that allow growth, clarity, and well-being. If you’re ready to begin that journey, I invite you to reach out.
