There are common themes that unite us all and we are each our own expert on how those themes show up in our life. Be it love, grief, change, struggle, growth, confusion, curiosity, or something else, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you explore and navigate these themes in your own life. I strive to empower my clients to determine the direction and pace of therapy. I aim to support you in understanding your needs, identifying your strengths, and developing new skills and perspectives to facilitate building a life that you don’t have to escape from. I have particular training/experience in the following: Equine Assisted Psychotherapy; Trauma; Traumatic Bereavement (the death of a loved one due to sudden, traumatic, or violent causes); Multiculturalism/Feminism/Minority Populations; Military Personnel and their Families; Grief; Anxiety; and Parenting and Fostering.
I use a multicultural, holistic, and integrated approach to therapy that considers the health and wellbeing of the WHOLE person, mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. I believe strongly that your experience in therapy hinges on finding a therapist that you “click” with. I invite you to reach out when you feel ready to explore a collaborative therapeutic relationship intended to support you in finding balance and fulfillment.
