As Administrative Director, I provide oversight to the daily operations and logistics of Acceptance Counseling. I manage other administrative departments and positions within Acceptance, such as clinician compliance, and administrative assistants to ensure they maintain efficiency, ethics, and quality assurance. I handle budgeting concerns, oversee inventory stocking, and manages workflow between various departments. I communicate with outside organizations and other contacts, such as landlords, referral providers, and Managed Care Organizations. I work closely with the Clinical Director, Rickie Palmer, LPCC to balance the needs of Acceptance Counseling so that the decisions do not lie solely on her shoulders. I also assist with hiring, training new staff, and conducting performance reviews and raises. I am involved in the process of contractor happiness. If they are happy we are happy.
Qualifications
- Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC ), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) Level 1 (Retired)
